I am a friendly and enthusiastic unit stills and key art photographer, working across film and TV. I’ve collaborated on British and American productions and am based in Norfolk, with easy access to London and the rest of the UK.

A lifelong movie fan, I’ve been capturing cinematic moments and behind-the-scenes action on camera since 2024. My background in street photography and portraiture has a strong influence, as does my admiration for Martin Parr’s quirkiness, Alex Webb’s spontaneous moments, and Atsushi Nishijima’s unique eye.

I started out shooting on short films spanning drama and horror (including James & Flora, Endolife, and The Spirit Lock). And I recently made the move to feature film and TV photography where I’m now focusing my lens. Working with a variety of directors and across genres has been challenging and insightful as I learn to respect, interpret, and celebrate different cinematography styles.

On set, I take an immersive approach, absorbing every detail. I’m partially deaf, which means I rely even more on my sight, crafting cinematic images in my mind’s eye before the shutter is pressed. I’m confident, courteous, and communicative, working alongside the crew to build trust, create magic, and always be a welcome presence.

Nick’s talent behind the lens is matched by his admirable dedication to the work. He is a reassuring and very likeable presence on set

Nick is highly professional, communicates clearly and is an absolute pleasure to work with. One of Nick’s greatest strengths as a set photographer is his ability to work almost invisibly, capturing genuine moments without ever distracting the cast or crew or disrupting the flow of production.
